Zirconium Standard Zr702

In the different environment with high corrosion, most of Stainless cannot resist and the usual solutions are Titanium and Zirconium. In case of organic acids and mineral acids, Zirconium is the most appropriate.

The standard grade of Zirconium is the Zr702 with a high corrosion resistance, a low thermal expansion and a high heat tranfer efficiency. Zirconium Zr702 is the right solution in case of acids like acetic, nitric, sulphiric, formic, hydrochloric.

ThyssenKrupp Titanium also produces zirconium Zr700, a special grade for sophisticated applications. Its high softness allows high forming operations like bending or cladding.
